One of my roommates and I estimate it’s about 30 degrees with the wind chill today. And about the same temperature inside. (She’s from Michigan, I feel like that validates her in the figuring out how cold it is category). 

And, it snowed this morning.

Yes, I live in South Africa.

And it snows.

Now, it’s turned into a sleeting mess. 

My window is drafty and more than one space heater at a time blows the fuse in my office. We’ve had some electricity issues the last couple of days, so that’s unreliable. And while eating soup, I put my feet in the oven at lunchtime to attempt to warm them. 

Despite the weather, today is a good day. And this weekend was fabulous. Probably the best I’ve had in a long time.
