Thrive Trip

I’m helping lead a short-term mission trip [part of the reason i've been mia for last couple weeks]. Here’s a picture from today…my group is making bricks. Tomorrow we’re going to start putting together the house. Who would have thought, huh? Me building a house….

    no poop…but I totally asked first…i’m not THAT hardcore :)

    and sad, the next day he wasn’t working on the house, so we did laundry. I’m really thankful for washing machines…

    oh come on… you haven’t really been a missionary until you’ve smeared poop on a wall or squished into mud like you’re making meatloaf.

    okay, that’s not REALLY a vital part of missionary-ness. because lord knows you truly are one. what with your servant heart and dedicated passion and all…
